A. THE PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION, HERIN AFTER REFERRED TO AS THE "ASSOCIATION" ARE:
1. TO PRESENT AN ANNUAL PARADE OF HOMES FOR THE CITY OF MARLIN, TEXAS; AND
2. TO UTILIZE THE MONIES GENERATED FROM THE TOUR TO HELP IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE CITIZENS OF MARLIN; AND
3. TO PROMOTE THE CITY OF MARLIN AND FALLS COUNTY AS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE AND STAY; AND
4. TO ENCOURAGE EVERY MEMBER OF THE ASSOCIATION TOWARD A CLOSER PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP AND A FRIENDLY SPIRIT OF MUTUAL COOPERATION; AND
5. TO FOSTER AND PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND PROSPERITY OF THE CITIZENS OF MARLIN, TEXAS, AND TO IMPROVE BY ALL MEANS THEIR STATUS AND CONDITION.

B. THE ASSOCIATION IS NOT ORGANIZED FOR PROFIT NOR DOES IT CONTEMPLATE ANY MONETARY GAIN OR PROFIT TO ITS MEMBERS.
